Pleated Window Blinds

Pleated window blinds are available in many different forms, from Roman shades to traditional slatted blinds arranged horizontally. Pleated window blinds are covered in a light fabric to add texture and color, as well as shade to the room in which the blinds are installed. Pleated blinds need dusting more often than normal blinds, as the fabric is harder to clean if left unattended. Many use pleated blinds as bedroom blinds, as they effectively darken rooms and keep out light better than aluminum. Pleated window blinds are also slightly heavier than aluminum or vinyl blinds, so it is best to keep such in mind when installing.
